Austrian Wine together with FOCUS magazine invites you to join the tour through Germany's best wine bars.
After the visits to the legendary Cordobar and other famous wine bars like Geisels or Grapes in Munich, the Weinzentrale in Dresden, the Witwenball in Hamburg or at Johannes King on Sylt, the tour started this year in the newly opened Rutz Zollhaus in Berlin!
Despite Covid restrictions, the event, including a masterclass on Burgundy varieties from Austria with Nancy Großmann (Sommelière Rutz) and Florian Schütky (Austrian Wine), were sold out with over 50 participants. The same happened in Bochum, more precisely at the Austrian-Restaurant Franz Ferdinand. Here, Grüner Veltliner was presented in all its facets by sommelier Tibor Werzl.

6:30 pm - Apero and introduction of the „FOCUS-Genussmachertour“
7 pm - Masterclass with Austrian top wines from Burgundy varieties
Moderation: Nancy Hoffmann, Hendrik Canis and Florian Schütky
8:30 pm - Great wine bar with further selected wines from Austria. Dishes inspired by 3* chef Marco Müller were served.
