Our small winery- south of Vienna-dates back to 1730.
Viticulture has a great tradition in our family. FREYSMUTH is the old ancestors' name.
Nowadays the winery is run by Gerhard and Waltraud PINTER.
Vines are grown in our vineyards and so we produce and sell wines from our own grapes.The mild climate of the area makes it possible to produce fruity harmonious wines and powerful late harvest wines which can be stored up to 10 years- at special vintage even longer.Rotgipfler and Zierfandler-both white wines-are the typical varieties of the Thermenregion.
The hand-picked grapes are pressed carefully with our old wooden beam press. The must is fermented at low temperature
to preserve the natural aromas.
