Wine-growing in Falkenstein has a long history which considerably influenced the north-east of the Weinviertel. In wine-making we emphasize ecological aspects and traditional grape varieties. Falkenstein's loess, lime and sandy soil grant the basis for wine full of character. The famous wine guide "Gault Millau" has been awarding our wine for many years.
You can taste our wine in a five-hundred-year-old cellar where we also offer traditional food of the area at the Heuriger.
If you want to stay in Falkenstein a little longer and get an insight into our vineyard activities and winemaking we would be pleased to accommodate you in our guest house. There two stylishly furnished apartments with a sunny terrace and a spacious garden are available.
