Information on location and soil

The warm shell limestone soils of the single-vineyard site Flamberg go back to the ancient coral reefs of the primordial ocean. At 500 meters above sea level, Sauvignon Blanc and Morillon are grown in a well-protected, basin-like slope situation.

Information on maturation

The grapes were handpicked in the first week of October. After skin contact maceration of 24 hours the grapes were gently pressed and the free-run juice was settled. After fermentation the wine remained in the cellar on yeast lees for one year.

Food recommendation

This zesty, piquant and salty wine with concentrated Sauvignon aromas goes well with fish and seafood, white meat and vegetables.
