Andreas and Georg Pesau, two of four brothers, have taken over the Pesau family wine estate a few years ago. The family traces a tradition of making wine for over 300 years. In fact, the first time the Pesau family was mentioned in connection with wine in Falkenstein dates back even 400 years.

The Pesau family’s vineyards are located around the historical wine making region covering Falkenstein’s hills, almost 60 km to the Northeast of Vienna. Falkenstein offers an excellent geological and structural setting for producing wine. Working organic in this cool climate area, Weingut Pesau stands for very fresh, mineralic and unique wines.
