Georgiberg Estate is a modernist based in 1777. Why? Mr. Christian Trierenberg and his family took over one of the oldest winery in South of Styria, Austria. With about 20 hectares there are basically still white wines and sparkling wines. Specialities from the Georgiberg Estate are red wines. In a closed valley, named Wielitsch, you will find Zweigelt, Merlot and Cabernet. Red wines form Georgiberg Estate are a positive surprise for international oenologists. Also there was in last years the weather for producing sweet white wines like Traminer Eiswein or Pinot Gris Auslese.
