Winery description

Vor 47 Jahren gründeten die beiden leidenschaftlichen Weinhauer Ernst und Gerti Huber die Buschenschank und das Weingut Fuhrgassl-Huber in Neustift am Walde.

Sie erbauten auch das heute so charakteristische, architektonisch sehr reizvolle Haus, das vom renommierten Wiener Professor Walter von Hoesslin geplant wurde.

Die Weingärten befinden sich alle im 19. Wiener Gemeindebezirk, großteils aber in Neustift am Walde, direkt hinter dem Haus. Seit der Übernahme des Weingutes durch den Enkel Thomas Huber hat die Weinproduktion enorm an Bedeutung gewonnen.

Thomas Huber, Absolvent der Weinbauschule in Krems, weiß mit seinen 28 Jahren sehr genau, was er will: Die Weine des Familienbetriebs sollen an die Spitze des Wiener Weins herangeführt werden.
