Winery description

Our family’s wine-growing estate has a very long tradition going back to 1660 when it was first mentioned.

By vinification we mean our destination to produce top quality vintage wines which are typical for the local climate and soil of the Kamptal area. Due to long hours of sunshine and cool nights our wines are fruity and of fairly high alcohol content. Moreover, a subtly diversified tartness, which is caused by different types of soil and forms of viniculture, characterizes our wines. In our vinyards you can even find gravel and preexisting rocks as well as loess, which is typical of this area. Among the best crues ( locations of our vinyards) of our estate are Steinhaus, Steinmassl, Schenkenbichl, Spiegel and Panzaun, which rank among the best renowned of the Kamptal area.
