Located to the North of Lake Neusiedl at the foothills of the Leithagebirge, the area around the small village of Jois is an ideal place for wine growing and variety. The region offers excellent conditions for producing a diverse range of wine due to the high concentration of limestone. The wineries focus lies on Blaufränkisch, which can be found as basic generic appelation wines as well as single vineyard wines. Vineyards are farmed organic and winemaking ist low intervention.
