The winery of the Schwarz family is located in Schrattenberg, on of the most important red wine communities of Austria. The foundation for optimum wine quality is already laid in the vineyard. Year after year, ripe and healthy fruit is obtained by suitable pruning, canopy management, grape thinning and crop selection. Transport to the press house takes place very carefully in small boxes. In the cellar, the quality sourced in the vineyard is sought to be preserved and the wine is given the necessary time for maturation, which occurs in small oak-barrels for the top offerings of the house. The assortment ranges from fruit-forward whites to classic reds to full-bodied wines and is supplemented by elegant sweet wines.
