At Zahel, winemaking is working closely with nature, using methods that leave our vineyards as untouched as possible. After a decades-long commitment to rejecting pesticides and embracing a natural approach, we received our organic certification in 2017 and since 2018, cultivate our vineyards biodynamically. We feel strongly that these practices not only produce better wine but will allow our vineyards to thrive for generations to come.

At home in Vienna, the world’s only city also classified as its own wine growing region, our 35 hectares of vineyards are distributed throughout all of the area’s main growing zones.
