The winery Fuchs-Steinklammer, dating back to 1697, produces high quality wines by combining the knowledge of many generations with today’s modern technology.

Ing. Kurt Fuchs, who took over the winery in 1989, is responsible for the variety in the wine selection. He is joined by his sons, Stefan, a graduate of the viticultural school in Klosterneuburg, and Alexander, a student at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.

The Fuchs-Steinklammer Winery is the only winery that has vineyards in both the northern area of Vienna, with its light, loess soil, and the southern edge of the city, with its heavy clay and limestone soil. These areas, separated by the Danube River, vary both geologically and climatically, creating uniquely characteristic wines each year.
