The winery Waldschütz was established in the year 1849.

1992 was the year where everything changed: Anton, 5th generation of Waldschütz, married Elfriede, whose family ran a winery situated in the region Wagram. After they got married, they saw new opportunities of two regions and one winery. They started to build up a completely new production building and a new cellar. Since Ralph, the 6th generation, is working in the winery, the focus of distribution has shifted more and more to export. Nowadays, the Anton Waldschütz GmbH has reached the perfect size. All the works in the vineyards and the cellar are always overlooked by one person out of the family and all family members are going the same way in one direction. 100% quality and terroir in every single bottle.
