The winery Kummer-Schuster is located in Halbturn / Burgenland on the east bank side of Lake Neusiedl. Tradition is very important to the family owned winery. Since 2013 Dr. Rainer Schuster is the head of the estate. He combines traditional aspects of wine making with new and innovative trends. Cellar master Alois Schuster and his wife Traude Schuster (both are alumni of the renowned School for Wine Growing at Klosterneuburg, Austria) are still the "masterminds" acting in the background. The winery specializes in red wine - Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Merlot are the main drivers of the assortment. However, the fruity white wines, such as Gelber Muskateller or Chardonnay, do not lag behind!
