About us

The wine-growing village of Siegendorf, 60 km south of Vienna in the Leithaberg country, was first documented in 1254. At this wine-growing estate – which covers 24 hectares and has been run by the Lenz Moser wine cellar since 1988 – all processes are carried out completely in accordance with the ecologically-oriented guidelines of production. The proximity to the Neusiedler See, the south-westerly arrangement of the vineyard and the Pannonian climate favour wine-growing. The warm, sandy and humic soils are ideal for the cultivation of high-grade grapes. The types of wine grown in Siegendorf are: 3 ha Weißburgunder, 11 ha Cabernet Sauvignon, 7 ha Merlot and 3 ha Cabernet Franc. O’Dora is the name of the premium wine from the Siegendorf monastery cellar.
