Dankbarkeit - Restaurant & Winery

The winery Josef Lentsch is situated in Podersdorf next to lake Neusiedl. Mr. Lentsch has got two passions of his life: he owns a restaurant which has been family-run for four generations now and he spends all his energy in winegrowing as well.

His motto is to produce wines that produce joy, that are affordable and that fit perfectly to the restaurant’s traditional character!

The wineyards are located in Podersdorf/See in the winegrowing area Neusiedlersee. 60% of the wineyards are planted with white grapes like Welschriesling, Grauburgunder, Neuburger, Weißburgunder and Muskat-Ottonel and 40% are dedicated to red grapes such as Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. About 30% of the whole production are sweet wines.
