In Purbach, on the west bank of the Neusiedlersee, we cultivate our red and white wines on about 22 hectares of best soil. The biggest part of the growing area consists of great southern and south-western slopes directly located on the Leithagebirge. The ideal sunny position and the air currents - created by the hillside - guarantee continuous heat supply. The soil - made of crystalline gneiss and shale, coated by limestone layers - stores the heat and sunlight and provides for the typical mineral tones of our wines.
