A tendency towards the exceptional
Around 400 years of family tradition, a philosophy of viniculture bound up with nature, and innovative "esprit" are the cornerstones for wine growing at WEINGUT CHRIST.
The vines, the most important capital assets, stand on the gentle, south-facing slopes of the Bisamberg, on the north-eastern boundary of the city of Vienna.
The geological variety is unique, and stretches from alluvial, ice-age, terraced gravel, through weathered chalks interspersed with limestone, to layers of loess and slate. At the end of the day this balance between vineyard and cellar delivers fine wines full of character with great structure, which will melt in the mouths of friends of high-quality wines.
