The Wutzl winery is located in Gobelsburg, which is a small village in the heart of the Kamptal in Austria. The winery comprises 18 hectares and the most important varieties are Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
Franz-Josef Wutzl, the winemaker, feels the vocation to make puristic top-wines under environmental-friendly conditions. After all, a vital fauna and flora in the vineyards is the fundament of a successful winery. In the wine cellar the interference into the development of the wines is kept to a minimum. This leads to very authentic wines which are closely linked to the characteristic of the respective vineyard sites.
