Originally a farm, Weingut Taferner has been converted to run on wine in 1989.

Today our vineyard area totals 25 hectares of 60% red and 40% white varieties.

When you love what you do, it shows.

Organic and sustainable certified, our mission is to create wines that reveal the complex nuances of the vineyards that inspire them. Our wines speak of the land.

We believe that real wine quality is produced in the vineyard, not in the winery.
