Constantly. Our wine-growing company is placed in the historic city centre of the free town of Rust. The vineyards are extending over an area of 5,5ha widespread around Rust. Our family has grown wine for lots of generations. Nowadays Gernot Schreiner is cultivating his precious vineyards.
Organic. It is our intention to keep the valuable soil of our vineyards healthy. Therefore for instance we cultivate green manure using different kinds of flowers and herbs, force the spreading of beneficial organisms and negate using conventional chemical protection. We are convinced of ecological viniculture. As a reason of this we applied for the certificate of a organic wine growing company in 2008. The harvest 2012 will be certified organic.
