Today's wine and wine tavern in Schmuckenschlager was originally started around 1860 as a small mixed farm.

Our vineyards are our capital. To protect and preserve our vines, we rely on the combination of traditional knowledge and the latest findings. Yield-reducing pruning, canopy work and grape thinning allow the grapes to thrive. Our locations are mostly oriented to the south and south-east. The varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are planted here, which develop a pronounced liveliness and fruit on the tertiary sandstone soils, which are partly covered by loess and loam. The temperature-regulating influence of the Danube in particular promotes the ripeness and aroma development of the grapes. Healthy soils and vital soil life are particularly important to us.
