Events in which the winery participates

The history of the Esterhazy Winery begins with the construction of the wine cellar in the Esterhazy palace in Eisenstadt over 300 years ago. New standards were set at the latest when Monsieur LeBon, a cellarmaster from Burgundy, entered the service of the Esterhazy princes in 1758.
In our cellar, we take an unbiased approach and work with different wine vessels such as eggs, amphorae, barrels and sustainably produced wooden barrels made from local Leithaberg oak. We want to find the best possible ways of maturing in order to produce wines that are typical of their region and variety at an absolute top level, which always bear a very clear Esterhazy signature.
