The vinery Schwertführer 35 is located in Lower Austria. Sigrid and Kerstin, started taking over vineyards from their grandparents in 2014. Since then, they cultivate and market their wines under the name „Die Schwertführerinnen“.Their focus lies on the autochthonous varietal „Rotgipfler“, „Weißburgunder“ and „Chardonnay“, as well as complex, hefty reds. The allocation of responsibilities was easy to figure out. Kerstin loves to work in the vineyards and the cellar, Sigrid takes on the marketing part, such as tastings, sales and administration. In 2019Kerstin, who is the youngest cellar master in all of Austria, won Young Winemaker of the Year.
