Christoph Bauer is the winemaker of the family winery Christoph Bauer. Our wines are known for their clear varietal and vintage character. Conscientious work in our vineyards is the foundation, where we have been using organic methods since 2015.

Our grapevines grow in Weinviertel, a winemaking region north of Vienna.

Weinviertel is famous for the Austrian white variety Gruener Veltliner.

Our vineyards, situated in Jetzelsdorf near Haugsdorf, are also planted with red varieties. The small, deep valleys here create the perfect environment for full-bodied red wines. In total we cultivate a vineyard area of 20 hectares.
