In our family vines have been planted for generations. We started as ordinary farmers, selling the grapes harvested on our land. However, in the 1980ies we finally decided to create our own wine. The winery, built up by Juliana Wieder, is now managed by her son, Georg, a creative and down-to-earth wine maker. Pursuing his ideals diligently and consequently, his wines have advanced to the top of his native Austria. With his sister Burgi and niece Franziska, who are responsible for marketing and sales, the whole family is engaged.

Today, 42 hectares of vineyards are cultivated in and around Neckenmarkt, where the soil is very favourable for growing red vines.
