The winery TAUBENSCHUSS exists since 1670 and builds on the experience of successful generations of winegrowers. Even the ancestors have secured the best locations around the village of Poysdorf, located 60 kilometers northeast of Vienna, Austria.
Pure, dry wines with unmistakable characteristics are created. The credo is sustainable viticulture, whereby one deliberately refrains from the use of herbicides, insecticides and commercial fertilizers. Own compost production for organic fertilization of the vineyards and vineyard grazing by special sheep form the basis for expressive wines. Currently, the winery is in the conversion process to organic certification and will be certified in 2024.
