For more than 270 years, we, the family Schandl works in viticulture in Rust.

Two thirds of the area are coverd with various white wines, one third with several red varieties.

Most of all we favour the Burgundies which on the other hand love aus panonic climate.

Depending on the vintage year we obtain very spicy dry wines from white and grey Burgundies. After some years of ripening they inspire our Winefriends. Our most exquisite dessert wines are cultivated from this superier variety.

We are Ruster traditionalist in the best sense.

We grow the historical Furmint and Yellow Muskateller, a very old variety, but they still harmonise with the modern taste and are very much sought after.

Our red wines show a lot of primary fruit and are very typical for our region.
