Christian, Birgit and their son Mario Reumann run the business called “Grenzlandhof”. This name goes back to the close vicinity of the Hungarian border and was chosen to make a distinction from other same-named family estates in this famous wine community. The Grenzlandhof comprises 25 hectares of vineyards located on nutritive loamy loess soils, which lend themselves perfectly to the cultivation or red grapes.
Blaufränkisch leads the grape spectrum, amounting to 50% of the production. It is both vinified as a variental wine and blended with other varietals. Thanks to its fine offerings, the winery has unobtrusively developed into a remarkable business which exports its wines as far as to overseas countries. Its success, which is underpinned by numerous awards at home and abroad.
