Sierndorf is right in the heart of “Veltlinerland” in Lower Austria. Nestled at the river March the vineyards benefit from the warm wind at night. The climatic conditions with hot summers and cool winters as well as little rainfall favor the development of particularly fruity white wines and lively, powerful red wines. The varieties include Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling and Muskateller, Zweigelt, Merlot, St. Laurent and Syrah.

Katja and Werner are both career changers - Werner worked as a controller for a worldwide operating company and Katja studied history of arts. Now they long for understanding and working with the vineyard to coax something magical from the land. Since 2019 fully certified for organic farming.
