The Hajszan Neumann winery is located in Vienna's most famous wine-growing district, Grinzing, at the foot of the Nussberg. Much passion is invested in certified biodynamic viticulture to yield elegant, unadulterated wines with authentic expression. Fritz Wieninger, pioneer of quality wine production Vienna took over management of this winery in 2014 where he concentrated on the production of Wiener Gemischter Satz, Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. The vineyards, most of which are owned by the star architect Heinz Neumann, are located in the best sites of Vienna with the Nussberg playing the leading role. The mineral-rich marine limestone and weathered calcareous soils impart wine expressive character.
