The tradition
The Autrieth family has been making wine in Hadres in the western Weinviertel since 1725. Vines have been cultivated and wine made and drunk here for hundreds of years. This tradition is now in the safe hands of Johannes Autrieth who is carrying it forward with the help of the latest technology. 20 hectares of vineyards are cultivated today, with much of the work still being carried out manually. Tradition, experience, good-quality land and last but not least state-of-the-art cellar technology allow Johannes Autrieth to produce complex wines brimming with local character.
