Austrian wine exports show a slight increase in value

VieVinum 2024

ProWein 2024

From 10 to 12 March, Austrian Wine had its biggest international appearance of the year at ProWein in Düsseldorf. Wineries from all over Austria presented wines from all Austrian regions at the most important wine fair in Europe. Read more

Another success for Austrian wines has been announced, this time at the Viiniexpo 2003 in Finland, the largest Scandinavian wine fair, which named the “Wines of the Year 2003”

The positive result for Austria’s wines was especially evident from the sweet wine category, where Austrian producers conquered the places 2, 3, and 4, leaving the first spot for an Italian wine. Famous sweet wine-producing countries as Hungary and France did not appear at the top at all.
