 –  Regionally typical wines from the Thermenregion are now protected with a DAC, making this the final wine-growing region to join the system. Initially, it seemed that it would be a very dry year, were it not for the occasional showers of rain – which not always came at the best of times. However, the great dedication and hard work of Austria’s winemakers were recompensed with ripe, well-balanced white wines with a fine display of fruit. The red wines are outstanding, showing power, structure and velvety tannins. Read more

 –  After two years marked by the huge impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, 2022 could almost be considered a normal year again. However, the Austrian Wine Marketing Board (Austrian Wine) also put a host of other initiatives into place to promote the sale of the country’s wines and drive added value for Austrian winegrowers.
