To support the rising sector of Austrian quality sparkling wine, there was this year, for the first time, a special submission procedure and an expert jury appointed for this category. All SALON winners and SALON selected wines were honored and given culinary accompaniment by the South Tyrolean star chef, Norbert Niederkofler, at the SALON gala dinner on June 24th in the Palais Coburg in Vienna.
