Winery description

Winzerkeller Andau is one of the oldest wineries in Andau with its origin in 1959. It counts more than 600ha of vineyards and is situated in the so called “Seewinkel” (~ Lake’s District), in the very Eastern part of Austria. Since more than 50 years high-quality wine with a focus on Austrian grape varieties like Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch has been produced. The regional climate, called the Pannonian climate with hot and dry summers up to 39°C is perfect for the cultivation of high quality wines. The gritty soils in our region are very mineral due to their high iron content and lead to pure and very elegant wines. The winery is IFS-certified for the outstanding quality of its wines.
