Winery description

The family Seiler has been involved with wine-growing for over four centuries in Rust. On the one hand we became known through our conventionally vinified Chardonnay, whose fruit and raciness are harmoniously integrating the high alcohol content, on the other hand through our “Ruster Ausbruch”, the traditional botrytis desert wine for the Free City of Rust. We are also well known for growing the traditional varyties Gelber Muskateller und Furmint.

In the red wine sector we prefer the traditional austrian varieties Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, but have also small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
