The trade fair Millésime Bio in Montpellier has become one of the most important international organic trade fairs in recent years.

Since 1993, the wine fair Millésime Bio stands for a 100% organic offerings.  Unlike other fairs, the wines are not organized by country or region, instead the presentation placements are given randomly in order to generate a lively exchange between winegrowers. The trade fair is reserved exclusively for trade visitors and Austrian winemakers also appreciate the professional and relaxed atmosphere of the fair. This year 35 producers from Austria will participate.

For Austria, which with a total of  14.2% certified organic winegrowing area is among the largest in the world, Millésime Bio has become an important trading platform in general and for this reason, the AWMB is also strengthening its presence with an educational seminar. Jamie Goode (UK, wine critic and wine author) will  lead attendees through the tasting showcasing Austrian winegrowers and vineyards.
