The Austrian Wine organises a wide array of presentations and fairs in Austria and on the global stage.
The year of Austrian wine is characterised by many national and international activities that are offered and organised by Austrian Wine with regional partners. The focus is on major projects such as VieVinum as well as on participating in international wine fairs such as ProWein and Vinexpo, which are implemented in cooperation with partner organisations.
Austrian Wine Events 2023
Classic “Austrian Tastings” and commented tastings for sommeliers, retailers and journalists, that take up current topics of the Austrian wine world, are held in the most important export markets. Presence is also shown in distant markets such as North America and Asia.
Millésime Bio
January and February 2023
The wine trade fair Millésime Bio celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2023. Numerous Austrian wineries will be represented both at the online event and at the trade fair on-site in Montpellier.
Austrian Tasting London
6 February 2023
The Austrian Tasting is back in London. Visitors will have the chance to discover over 100 Austrian wineries. On top there will be a Masterclass-Area which will offer an ever closer look to Austrian wine.

The Austria Wine "Sommelier Competition" enters the next round. In Spring 2023 we are traveling to Hoboken (New Jersey) & Raleigh (North Carolina). During a scavenger hunt, we will determine one winner per city, who will win a trip to Austria. The competition is open to all sommeliers & wine professionals.

Vinexpo Asia Singapore
23 - 25 May 2023
Austrian Wine goes Asia and will be part of Vinexpo Asia in Singapore. In an unique setting of Marina Bay Sands the international exhibitors will present their products to the experts of the Asia-Pacific region.
