VieVinum 2012: Attraction for winelovers from all around the world
May 18, 2012 - The VieVinum is Austria's largest and most prestigious wine fair, and is held every second year in the Vienna Hofburg. The biennial wine festival is open for three days during the end of May/beginning of June, and invites all wine enthusiasts to taste the new wines from over 400 Austrian producers and 100 international wine estates.
Over the course of these three days, approximately 12,000 wine aficionados make full use of this opportunity, and make the VieVinum undoubtedly the largest wine fair in Austria. For the Austrian Wine Marketing Board, the biggest partner of the VieVinum, the wine fair occurring every two years is the most important B2B-Event to its worldwide audience. Therefore we have yet again invited over 800 international wine journalists, sommeliers and agents from all over the world to participate in this special wine fair. This gives Austrian producers the opportunity of socialising with the international guests, and to cement existing business relationships. The AWMB's aim here is to increase the international distribution of Austrian wines.
