Sommelier World Championships - finale after 1000km of Austria
The combination of landscape, culture, gastronomy and the magnificent diversity of Austrian wines did not fail to have an effect with the ontology experts. Despite a strenuous program - participants covered a good 1000 kilometers in Lower Austria, Burgenland, and Styria within three days, including tastings - the impression that Austria, the land of wine, made on the international guests was lasting and good.
Representative of all participants, who came from all over Europe, Brazil, China, Japan, Canada, Korea, Cuba, Mexico, and the USA, was the Brazilian Roberto Rodriguez who said: "Austria is the land of wine to love."
